Harvest pricing in 2026: what changed and what it costs

Published by Bale ·

Harvest, the time tracking and invoicing tool, was acquired by Bending Spoons in a deal that closed in July 2025. In 2026 it moved from a flat per-seat price to a seat-plus-usage model. For some teams the renewal quote changed a lot. Here is what is published, what has been reported, and how to check your own numbers.

What Harvest's published plans say

As listed on Harvest's pricing page in October 2026:

PlanBilled annuallyBilled monthly
Teams$9 / seat / month$11 / seat / month
Enterprise$14 / seat / month$17.50 / seat / month

The seat price is only part of the bill. Harvest's pricing page says additional invoices, projects, clients and tasks are “billed based on what you use,” but it does not publish the usage rates. That makes the total hard to predict from the pricing page alone, and it is why the renewal quote Harvest sends you is the number that matters.

Renewal increases reported in the press

In August 2026, press coverage described renewals that rose sharply under the new model:

  • Bloomberg Government reported a renewal going from $211.20 to $2,547.60 a year, about 12 times the previous price.
  • The BBC reported a LinkedIn user whose bill rose from $2,800 to $23,000 a year, about 8 times the previous price.

These are individual cases as reported, not averages, and Bale has not verified them. How much your own bill changes depends on how your team uses invoices, projects, clients and tasks. Harvest says it emails customers 30 and 10 days before renewal, so check your inbox for the quote.

How the calculator works

The calculator below does not try to estimate Harvest's usage fees, because they are not published. Instead, you enter the renewal quote you received, which already includes them. The math is simple:

You pay today = seats × your current price per seat × 12
Bale per year = seats × $9 × 12
Difference per year = renewal quote − Bale per year
Over the 36-month lock = difference per year × 3

If your renewal quote is lower than Bale's annual price, the calculator says so. Bale's $9 per seat ($11 billed monthly) matches Harvest's Teams list price. The difference is what sits on top: Bale charges no usage fees, and early-access customers get their per-seat price locked for 36 months.
