Lock in $9/seat for 36 months

Bale annual pricing; monthly billing is $11/seat. We only save these figures if you join the waitlist. Harvest is a trademark of its owner; Bale is independent and not affiliated.

One-click import

Every hour, invoice and client. Not just last quarter.

Connect your Harvest account and Bale copies your full history: time entries, clients, projects, tasks, rates, invoices, payments, expenses and estimates. Then a reconciliation report compares totals on both sides, so you can confirm nothing was lost.

How switching works

Off your old plan before the renewal date. Three steps, one afternoon.

  1. Step 1: Connect your Harvest account

Authorize Bale through Harvest's official sign-in. Bale only reads your data and never changes anything in your old account.

  2. Step 2: We copy everything

Every time entry, client, project, invoice, payment, expense and estimate comes across in the background. We email you when it's done.

  3. Step 3: Check the totals and go

Review the reconciliation report, invite your team, and cancel your old plan before it renews.

Everything included

The workflow you know. Nothing sold back as an add-on.

Timer

Start a timer from the web, the browser extension or your project tool. Edit, split and note entries in seconds.

Timesheets

A clean weekly grid with billable and non-billable time, rates per person or project, and polite reminders.

Approvals

Managers review and lock timesheets before they become invoices. Nothing slips through, nothing billed twice.

Budgets

Hours and fee budgets per project, with alerts at the thresholds you choose, before the overrun, not after.

Invoicing and payments

Turn approved time and expenses into invoices. Clients pay by card or ACH; reminders and recurring invoices run themselves.

Scheduling

See who is booked on what for the weeks ahead. Scheduling is built in, not a separate app.

New in the first release

The things Harvest users kept asking for.

Shipping in our first release and included in every Team seat. Bale is in early access: join the waitlist to get in first.

Included, not upsold

Profitability and utilization

Margin by client and project, billable utilization by person, and uninvoiced work, on every plan instead of behind a sales call.

Private by design

AI-drafted timesheets

Bale drafts your week from your calendar and the tools you connect. You review and confirm. No screenshots, no keystroke logging.

Most-cited annoyance

Forgotten-timer rescue

A timer left running past your usual day gets flagged with a one-tap fix, and an empty day gets a gentle nudge before the timesheet closes.

Agency must-have

Retainers that roll over

Monthly retainer budgets with rollover rules, burn alerts and overage billing, so recurring clients are never a guess.

Requested by clients too

Client portal

Clients see hours against budget, approve timesheets and pay invoices in one link. No more spreadsheet exports.

Small but loved

Faster weekly entry

Copy last week in one click, add notes directly in the weekly grid, and keyboard shortcuts for everything.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Is Bale affiliated with Harvest?

No. Bale is an independent product. We built it for teams who liked how Harvest worked and want predictable pricing again.

What exactly does the import bring over?

Time entries from every year, clients, projects, tasks, billable and cost rates, invoices, payments, expenses, estimates and team members. A reconciliation report compares totals before and after. Forecast schedules aren't included yet, because Forecast has no stable public API.

What does the 36-month price lock mean?

If you join during early access, your per-seat price cannot go up for 36 months. It is written into your terms, not a promise on a blog post.

Are there any usage fees?

No. You pay per seat. Invoices, projects, clients and tasks are unlimited and never metered.

Do you monitor screens or keystrokes?

Never. Bale tracks the time people choose to log. No screenshots, no activity scores, no surveillance.

When can we switch?

We invite waitlist teams in order of their renewal date, so join with your renewal month and we will reach you before it.

Your renewal can wait. Your move can't.

Join the early-access list. We invite teams in order of their renewal date, so nobody pays a higher bill while they wait.
